    Straight talk home phone question

Hi, my elderly parents in law have the straight talk home phone. I was there yesterday and the phone rang and before they could get to it, the call went to ST voicemail.. They asked me why it went to ST voicemail instead of there old style answering machine which they prefer. I am sure somehow ST picks up on ring 4 which is too low of a number of rings. Do any of you know how we can change the ST V-mail to a higher number?

I've got the H258C for my mom and the VM kicks in on the 6th ring and her answering machine is set to the 4th and works most of the time that way. I'm pretty sure it's not user changable .

The bigger problem we are going to have is these devices will most likely die at the end of the year as they are verizon cdma 1x and not LTE compatible like the ZTE is

OK, well that will take care of that lol.. I will just change them to a new one towards November. Since you are obviously waaaaaay smarter then me on this, may I ask you if Sprint will be losing LTE too. My brother gave me a iphone SE for Boost mobile (no SIM) and I wonder if it is going to go the way of the Dodo
    Thanks for your answer

iPhone se is not going to be obsolete. It has lte and will keep working. If it's a boost phone it will need to be unlocked to work on other carriers

I'm trying to find the Z723EL at Walmart so far no luck it's supposed to be VoLTE

If I can't find it I guess I'll have to wait and see what's going to be available.
