regain signal after getting out of subway tunnel

I have an S7 edge under fido ...I experienced this was Telus as well

I find that when once I'm out the tunnel (dsvidvillr and especially Rosedale station. in Toronto ) ...my phone regains the signal slowly ...sometimes not at all ...I have to go to airplane mode (which sometimes isn't instaneous and there's a lag ) then disable it ..

is this exclusively a Samsung phenomenon? or is it just normal for phones to recover the signal slowly?

yes turning off airplane and turning it back on isn't big of. deal but as I mentioned sometimes it lags and also the airplane disables my Bluetooth which disconnects my music .
