    Telus Bands 13 and 29

I am looking at a Huawei Mate 20X and it appears to be fine except is doesn't support band 13 or 29 on Telus. I have looked all over and called Telus who couldn't tell me anything about their own bands and what they do?

Can anyone tell me if missing these two bands will cause any problems that I should worry about. The best I could find was that they were used in more rural areas but not sure if that is true. I know both bands are on the 700mhz freq but do I really need them. I am not in a rural area and have good lte coverage.

    Thanks

    Paul

700 Mhz is mostly used in rural areas. So if you spend a lot of time in rural areas, there could be impact.

There is no impact at all. B29 is downlink only (for Carrier Aggregation). There's faster CA combos that don't use B29 (for example B2, B4, B7, B7).

B13 is never deployed by itself. There will always be B12 along with it, so there's no risk to rural coverage.
