Will ATT match Verizon $45 15GB Plan

With regard to the new $45 Verizon prepaid plan with 8GB and 7GB bonus (15GB total), do you think ATT will increase their data on the $50 plan? Does prepaid have retention offers like postpaid and credit cards? If you call CS, and mention moving to Verizon, will they offer any retention bonus or match the Verizon offer?

Att $50 plan is $40 with credit card and it has thirty day rollover so I'd say Verizon was matching att.

ATT had a $45 unlimited data promotion which was a $20 savings on their $65 plan by using autopay. Verizon's Visible is the best unlimited deal at $40 for unlimited all fees included

Not 100% sure, but I'm 99.9% sure the answer is "No".

    1) If you think that AT&T Prepaid's current account management system is able to handle a customized, one-off plan then you've never dealt with a plan switch before. Even the discount for the 3 unlimited lines for $100 deal doesn't kick in until the plan renews because the system can't set it up from the outset. IOW a plan-match definitely ain't happening.

    2) Retention? IMHO the whole point of prepaid is that you are free to leave when you find a better deal - and when your old carrier ups their game, you are free to switch back.

They just brought back the extra $20 auto-pay discount on the two unlimited plans. If that counts.

As a medium data user i wish they would have an answer to Verizon's $40/$35 3gb plan. It's only $5 cheaper than the 8gb plan but i just don't need that much data.

Then why not just switch to H2O Wireless & their $30 3GB plan? That would be even less expensive than Verizon's plan.

I don't like to drift to far from the actual carriers (Att, Verizon, etc...)

Yeah, that's the plan I currently have with H2O wireless and it's actually $27.00/mo. with auto pay. I rarely use 2GB/mo., so 3GB is plenty for me and for a light user should be one of the cheapest options.

Cricket 5GB Plan is $35 with autopay. It is throttled to 8Mbps, but that should be relatively unnoticeable for you on a phone.

So previously under $20 promo, your $20 autopay stacked with multiline discount? Correct? When they set up my multiline, I lost my promo and for an easy way out they are claiming it doesn't stack.

Do you have to use the walmart phone to keep the discount or can you swap it?
