Yep. Got mine last night. Took hours to download, must have been pushing out to a lot of phones.

Still nothing on the US Unlocked Snapdragon S9. The carriers all have their updates already, why is this taking so long? It's unlocked, seems like they should be the first to get it.

I don't think 9.0 is out on T-Mobile yet. That could be the hold up.

Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T all released Pie for the S9 and S9+ over the past few days. In addition, the Note 9 on AT&T also received Pie. So far I’ve heard nothing about T-Mobile. According to a post on T-Mobile’s forum, Pie isn’t even out of development phase yet. Once that’s completed it then has to go through bug testing. https://support.t-mobile.com/thread/149813

The android updates are released by the carriers first and unlocked devices receive the updates later. There are internet sites available where you can update manually at your own risk.

It's a shame Samsung unlocked users are held at bay waiting for T-Mo especially if they aren't even testing yet like DebiLee mentioned.

Waiting for T-Mobile has nothing to do with the release for unlocked users. T-mobile branded devices will get the update before the unlocked users, simple as that. It doesn't matter if the unlocked device users use T-mobile or not.

I have the unlocked S9+ and I flashed the AT&T firmware onto the phone. I then ran software update which gave me a 83mb update first and then Pie was next. The update is universal so it works with all carriers meaning if you use an AT&T sim, the phone reboots into the AT&T firmware and so on with T-Mobile and Sprint and all the rest.

Does VoLTE (with an AT&T SIM) work on it after the Pie update??

Is there a way to change the clock from the left back to where it was? Or can't you customize that?

No. This was likely done intentionally for notch support. The same reason why the number of notifications in the status bar was limited down to a maximum of four before an ellipsis appears, and why “Verizon Wireless” now scrolls in the upper left corner of the lock screen. I agree with you that it’s stupid to limit screen real estate on phones that don’t have a notch, however I’m sure this was done for uniformity with phones that do. Honestly I don’t mind in the grand scheme of things.

Being Android I’m sure there’s an app to move things around.

I have a hard time with change, but I guess I can learn to accept!
