Cheyenne was one of the first sites deployed. Loveland came online around Thanksgiving.

It helped in Cheyenne where the was no B12. Loveland was on an existing site with B12, so just added capacity.

    Frequencies

Reminder about the approximate frequencies of bands:

    .

So Band 71 is the lowest at present.

Wouldn't the 500 mhz band go a bit further?

I spotted my first B71 capable site today in NYC complete with a 5G NR capable radio and antennas. An illegal setup per NYC building code standards but hey it's been installed.

If it gets caught there could be a violation but highly unlikely.

Uhm, sure 500MHz would go further than their other current holdings in theory.

They linked website though doesn't talk about 500 MHz, as it isn't a spectrum currently used for cellular networks. In fact, except for some odd-ball areas that used I think 450MHz (which I don't think LTE uses yet, if ever), the 600 we're using in the USA is some of the lowest frequencies in the world for cellular.

There's a height limitation in NYC and they're over it. I originally thought the antennas were too large as well but they're ok.

Well that's good that means the 600 megahertz support is being rolled out there in my area in central New Jersey there's lots of modernization going on
