The federal watchdog that handles customer complaints about telecommunications and television services in Canada saw a 57 per cent spike in complaints in 2017-2018, most of them involving wireless providers. --

From a preliminary reading of the report, hightlights include:

  • Rogers accounts for 39.6% of all Confirmed Breaches
  • Wireless is still the top category of complaints
  • Bell received the highest number of complaints
  • Ontario filed the highest number of complaints
  • 9 Service providers are still refusing to join the CCTS as of July 31, 2018
