I just activated eSIM (dual sim feature) on my iPhone Xs using GigSky

If you've read the other thread I've created on this topic you already know that I've been trying to activate the eSIM (dual sim) on my iPhone Xs through ATT. I was trying to move my ATT service to the eSIM which would allow more flexibility in adding service however ATT is not ready to start the service.

But just earlier today I ran into an article on BigSKy which is a service that allows you to put data on your phone for travel to other countries. And that's pretty much what I wanted. If I could activate the eSIM, I was planning on adding just a data plan on my phone for when I reached my destination.

This ended up being the perfect solution. I activated the eSIM and added a data plan using BigSky and I don't even have to bother trying to buy service at a local store at my destination.

And the purchase and installation was quick and seamless.

I put a Truphone plan on my iXr last week. 1Gb, 30 days, $18 and I think it's good for 80 countries worldwide. I just downloaded their app and did it from there in about 2 minutes with ApplePay.
