Thread: Just did my annual Gold Rewards/Legacy refill routine!

    Just did my annual Gold Rewards/Legacy refill routine!

    (Goldmember says: "I love gooooold!")

    I got 36 minutes (expected). Balance is around $135.

    Last year I did the thing where you call them up (after the refill) and request the rate be adjusted to equal $0.10/minute.

    I wonder if that would work again... Anybody try?

    I do not think the savings would be worth your time.
    If you dial *3279 it will say what the rate is probably something like .10001?

    Well, it works out like this:

    $135.05÷1286 (minutes in account after application of new refill) = $0.1050155 (new per minute rate)

    So I get 1286 minutes now instead of 1350, a difference of 64.

    Yeah, definitely not worth the time, IMO.

    So I extended my legacy Gold last night but now it doesn't show any minutes under My Plan. Instead instead I see this message:

    Pay As You Go - Legacy
    Change plan

    MINUTES/MESSAGES REMAINING
    0

    You have exceeded your 30 included Minutes / Messages that are in your monthly plan. $0.10 each additional during your billing cycle.
    DATA
    0/0

    New expiration says Use by: 7/7/2020 9:00:00 PM and balance did increase by $10 with a 456 Message that 35 mins was added, so I know the $10 RTR was accepted.

    Anyone else not seeing minutes anymore?

    I'm seeing the same thing. It could be that they're now just simply relying on your ability to take your account balance and divide by $0.10.

    However that doesn't account for the difference between what we're getting when we add a $10 refill (around 36 mins?) vs. having the new dollar amount balance, deducted at $0.10/min.

    Or maybe that's the point: That all of it is now $0.10/min regardless of refill amount/type added.

    We might not know unless this turns out simply to be a glitch in the website.

    By the way, did you (or anyone) get a prompt about trying out a "new" website or stick with the old (current) one? I didn't go with new, but maybe next time I will (if I get the prompt). Maybe our missing info is in there.

    Update: I turned back to look at the my.t-mobile.com page with my info on it, and it had apparently timed out and was at a page (kind of like a home page) with a lot of selections, but it wouldn't go anywhere (saying it can't load the page, etc.). That and I was still logged in!

    So I logged out and tried going back in. Got logged in (with two-factor text routine) and got the prompt about the new website, do I want to try it? I said yes this time, and it took me to that "home" page where nothing worked! Ha-ha on me, T-Mobile!

    The site is working again, so now you should see your minutes remaining.
    You can also dial 611 to get your dollars and minutes remaining.

    Ditto to everything. I suspect their Beta rollout might have messed up the site. Don't even get that option today.

    Thanks. Can confirm working again. Yes, I did *3279 from the phone shortly after posting and it gave me the new minutes and balance. I was just wondering if there was a change in the website for Legacy plans.
