AT&T and Harman bring connected features to your existing car

Looks like a Mobley replacement. Anyone have specs? Will it work on a Mobley plan?

Should work with the current mobley plan, the real question is if you don't have a mobley connected car plan currently will you be able to start a new standalone $20 unlimited connected car plan.
AT&T Unlimited Plus with Netgear DC112A
$20 Mobley stand-alone hotspot for home internet

The model number is Harman HSA-15UA-AA. Google it and you can find the user manual.
Lots of info on FCC site including links to internal and external photos.

For IOT ATT is pushing for e-sims. Wonder if this has an external sim. I'm not willing to put money down on another craptacular hotspot, I'm fine with my 2 CC plans with sims in better devices. Wouldn't be surprised if someone comes up with a way to use a Raspberrypi to feed this thing fake obd2 data and use the divice in the home.

Says for in car only. The Mobley stand alone plan didn’t have that.

I don’t think the old plan will be dead but will be grandfathered.

How strict they enforce this is what we will have to see.... Could be a case of just plugging into a car every 90 days or so and using the telematics periodically to satisfy the terms... Will be interesting to mess with.

Not if it’s an eSim like the VZW Hum and to the cars VIN.
