Agreed the data caps are not very good. My point was LTE with more subscribers is providing similar results today. There's lots of room for improvement for Verizon 5G.
Want to learn more about how LTE works?

They are most certainly using LTE for upload.
Read:
“Verizon gave an explanation you're going to get pretty familiar with: 5G uploads aren't enabled yet. Those are LTE uploads. They're waiting for a software update. Latency will also get better with time, the carrier said.”
And oh, does Canada have a live NR network on any carrier?

Fair enough, but that's a vendor limitation, not a technology limitation. Our operators have already tested 5G upload on NSA. I'm sure Verizon has tested it too in their lab.
And no, sadly we are way behind on key mobile 5G spectrum auctions, so we will need to wait a few years.
And yet here they are rushing to auction off to 5G providers spectrum that's needed for weather forecasting, resulting in far less accurate forecasts i the future. What gives?
Just curious. Do you guys have true unlimited or does it get throttled after some amount of usage per month?
Chiming in on that, on AT&T deprioritization seems to have little to no effect in most areas. Probably a side effect of how much spectrum they have on air.

Yeah I think our plan prices are on another level. For comparison, in Canada we have 12 GB plans on Fido @ $80, and up to 80 GB plans with premium brands like Rogers and Telus... at $350+ per month!!
Do you guys find you need unlimited? Mostly for video and audio streaming or other things?
