I set myself up on a QC plan and ported in my number, the steps worked exactly as written, thank you!

I'd like to add my wife's line to my account as well. Can anyone confirm that if I add a new line to my account using online self service and follow the same steps for a second line (get any ON number, wait until next billing period, change to QC plan, port in number) that won't mess anything up?

Also how would I do a referral if I'm adding a second line to my account?

It's better to open a separate account, go through the whole process including referral, and then merge it with your account.

I've been trying to port my wife's number from Koodo monthly to pre-paid for a couple of days now, and it hangs at the end each time. "Please wait while your activation is being processed."

    Anyone else experiencing this?

Looks like Koodo wants more money for overage -> Additional data $10/100 MB now!!!

Where as my old MB plan was 10/1GB and just when i sign up for this QC plan it was 7/100MB

I’m currently have a line with Robbers I’d like to move on to this deal but I see online that the $56/10GB end October 10.

    Hi,

I just did the 10GB plan for 56 dollars. Thanks for the great instructions. It worked perfectly. I will be switching my wife to an out of province plan next.

    Cheers!

Some people have been successful obtaining QC numbers with their new lines from Walmart and Best Buy. In that case you can change plan right away.

Tried this with my local Walmart and was immediately denied. They said if there was no QC picture ID, no activation with QC number. Maybe a memo is floating around internally now? Anyways, I'm on the outskirts of Ottawa so I'll have to take a trip in to town to visit a BB.

Walmart policy will not let them touch out of province number
    No act
    No upgrade
    No plan changes
    Nothing

BTW so who was it that keeps giving false / misleading info in this forum again? Talk about pot & kettle....
    Koodo $40 Canada Wide + 8GB
    Public $120 Province Wide + 12GB - $6 Autopay - $9 Loyalty - $45 Refer = $20 per Month
    Freedom $35 ($37-BTS) North America Wide + 8GB + 1GB Roaming

I did my OoP Saskatchewan activation at Walmart. Started the process with an OoP number port in. Agent gave 0 resistance to the activation.
