    iPhone SE Unlocked?

Is the iPhone SE (A1662) sold by Cricket unlocked for use on any carrier, like Verizon, for example?

I know what Cricket's policy says, but I would prefer to hear from people who have had actual experience with this.

    Thanks!

I have purchased two Cricket iPhone SE phones. Yes, Cricket locks them for 6-months. Once unlocked, these can be used on Verizon.

A few months ago I was able to unlock both devices via the AT&T unlock system (I have no idea if it still works today but still worth a shot)

For particular LTE bands for this SE model you can look here-

I was able to unlock both devices earlier (this seems to be very YMMV)

It seems that iPhone SE and iPhone 6s Plus sold by Cricket had issue to be activated on Verizon and Sprint after being unlocked. I got multiple reports on this issue.

I just did it too. Sent for an iPhone unlock. Went through. I’ve never used it on Cricket and they still did it.
