    Value Pack voicemail notifications missing

    When someone with a private or unknown number leaves a message in my voicemail I don't get any notifications or MMS. I have the $7 value pack with a Fido Samsung S8+. I tried my sim card in a Samsung S7 also from Fido with the same results. Does anybody else have this problem?

    Hi Claudia,

    Actually I spoke to a friend with the same issue. We have different plans with the same $7 Value Pack (French). Technical support told him that nothing can be done to fix the problem and it will only work on a Samsung S9, S9+, Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL. So the Samsung S8+ or S7 are not compatible with the premium voicemail included in the Value Pack? Is it true?

    If you haven't done so already, I would suggest you contact us (not from your Fido phone ) so we can run some tests.

    I also did ran all the tests with Fido but they had no solution to the issue (Samsung S8+ and S7).

    To anyone with the Value Pack - English

    Do you receive a notification after someone with a private or unknown number leaves a message in the voicemail?

    Fido has still not fixed the issue for us.

    Fido confirmed that all the customers with the French Value Pack have the issue.

    The solution for Fido was to change us from the French Value Pack to the English Value Pack to get the voicemail notifications.
    They don't seem to care to fix it. Now we lost the WhoCalled feature because it's discontinued. What a great service!

    Philippe from Fido again.

    I assure you that we're working on a solution for that. In the meantime, our only available workaround is to switch to the English version of the value pack. It is true that the new version of the value packs no longer includes the Who Called feature. The feature was discontinued recently.
