Red pocket vzw network on Verizon razr m

    Hello,
Been awhile since I've posted here, but I have a question.
I have a older paid off Verizon razr m that's collecting dust, my brother need a phone so I found red pocket and I'm going to get a plan for him using vzw through red pocket.

Will I be able to just pop the Sim card in the razr m and it will work? Or will I have issues?

    Any info would be great!
    Thanks
    Alex

Howdy. The Verizon Motorola V3m does not have a SIM card. I understand that Verizon will require 4G devices this June.

Yes, as long as the ESN is clear for activation on the Vzw network.

That old phone has LTE (Band 13 only), but it does not do VoLTE (for voice). The June cutoff still applies, you can only activate it before then. When Verizon shuts down CDMA in 2019, that phone will not be able to make regular voice calls.
