Yeswap, do you still have the credit card size card that the SIM card was attached to that was inside the packaging you posted above? Does the credit card size card look any different for the Three 200MB/mo free SIM card vs the other Three SIM card without the free 200MB/mo?

Find and compare prepaid plans at https://prepaidcompare.net
I just tried it on the website using a vpn into the UK and on my phone with a working 3 sim here in the US. Works part way but hangs on both when it come to proceeding beyond number and carrier entry. Hope they aren't out of business because they were the cheapest topup method and worked to topup UK sims using PayPal with a US credit card.
Thanks for checking. Yes, they are/were the cheapest as far as I could find. I'll try again next week if I think about it/
Don't know about Three but I used Ding.com to refill a Vodafone account. It worked except Vodafone said Ding also purchased a bundle on my account rather than just top up. Since I didn't use the bundle customer service via chat undid the bundle.
So not sure if I would go through that hassle again but it kinda worked. I also stumbled that Xoom offers mobile top ups but not sure what fees they charge.
I discovered that PayPal has topup cards on their UK website. It looks like the currency exchange rate is reasonable with minimum fees. Haven't tried to buy one yet, though.

Select cards and scroll down.
Thx!
This will be useful when I go back to
uk and Europe.
Do I need to vpn to uk to buy from paypal uk?
And Rip kwikpay![]()
Nice. Given my problems with Ding purchasing a bundle on top up I will try PayPal UK store next time, or Xoom (another PayPal company) at Xoom.com/reload (google search found this.. never tried it either)
I didn't use the PayPal UK topup card all the way through to purchasing, stopping short of hitting the BUY button. But there were no issues getting to that point.
And I didn't need to use a VPN.
Anyone that does use PayPal UK to top up, please report your experience.
I tried to purchase a three UK top up today from Paypal, but I got a message that they don't support international purchases. I will use https://www.mytopup.co.uk/ that I've used before without issue. Just slightly more expensive than Paypal.
After clicking "Buy Now" Paypal took me to a page to select a payment method. I selected my credit card and clicked on pay now. That's when I got the message saying it didn't support international purchases. Maybe it would work if I had credit in my Paypal account, but I didn't try that.
