I have a LG B470 we use for my mother in law that we tether to a standard home phone through bluetooth. A cell phone is too confusing for her, and she just likes the normal cordless phones, plus she's in a facility where landlines are an issue. It's basically just a burner on her sons account for ease of use.

My question is - does anyone know if there is a service code or a hack of some sort to either extend the # of rings before the cell VM picks up, or to do away with triggering the VM at all? The problem is now, the phone rings only 4 times and then the cell phone will kick in with the 'VM not set up' message. We don't need VM, and would rather the phone just keep ringing so she'll have time to get to it.

Any ideas?
