UltraMobile PAYGO is $3/mo for a working line

    including for overseas 2FA

but pSIM only, must get WiFi Calling working before you leave the US

Thank you! I did not realize that was an option. I will have to investigate, but you are correct, it is probably worth the extra $2 to get the data accumulation and the two factor authorization if she ever needs it. I assume she would also lose her PayGo balance, unless the Park Plan counts for the service requirement.

I was able to get her another referral, so she has another 2 months until I have to reevaluate.

Thank you. I will mention this to her as well. It might be more complicated than she wants though, because she would have to move her Vodafone line from physical sim to e-sim while abroad, then do the port from Tello e-sim to UltraMobile physical sim over Christmas. But I will investigate!

I had to get on my wife's hotspot to do anything, but hey - it's $10/month. So, yeah.
It's hard to tell if that's a Tello issue or just the T-Mobile sites being overwhelmed. If a different T-Mobile MVNO was used with better results, then that would be a Tello issue.

gFi is a great service to test that

especially if you can just join an an existing Flex plan, only 50˘/day plus 1˘/MB ($10/GB) for what you use testing, no minimums

Anecdotally, I had Mint Mobile for a brief time awhile ago as well as Red Pocket GSMT, and they were deprioritized exactly the same as my Tello service in the areas I frequent. I didn't have another TMO MVNO phone to test at Renfest, but my money is on the TMO MVNOs being deprioritized equally bad, maybe worse than their MVNO counterparts on V & ATT.

Sorry I was not more clear

Google Fi is the only TMO MVNO with the same priority level as T-mobile postpaid.

Simple plans customers have lower priority than gFi customers.

I believe 10OFFAFF will work on a new account (but not on a new line on an existing account).
