Well, B14 is only 10x10, or similar I believe, so unless they're adding more bands and filling in spaces I would not expect more than 30-50 with it.

Around my neighborhood we went from only getting B2/B17 to getting B2/B4/B5/B14/B17, that's why my speeds increased so much
    Verizon: Grandfathered UDP
T-Mobile: Magenta Amplified (airline employee plan)
    AT&T: Premium & More w/ Free 100Mbps VDSL2 "for life"

I honestly do not know. I do not use my AT&T line much as it's still spotty as hell when driving around the edge of the city, I just have it for the "free internet for life" deal they have in Chicago, as I ended up with 100/20, DirecTV Ultimate, and Unlimited talk/text/data for about $150 with the promos they gave me for my apartment there.

B14 is for First-Net and only for First Responders, I have First-Net and do have access to Band 14 but the general public does not.

Wrong. The general public most certainly does have access to band 14, but they’re the first to get the boot.

“When not in use by FirstNet subscribers, AT&T customers can enjoy Band 14’s added coverage and capacity.”

LMAO. It's exactly what jtludwig said. Check out the speedtest thread sometime and you'll see that everyone has utilized B14 as primary or secondary carrier.

I use it everyday, in fact i'm camping on it right now getting 50Mbps

Read the linked article of how it *actually* works. FirstNet was really not needed as LTE QOS actually handled this just fine already, and AT&T knew that, so they took the stupid government program and the associated money and made it a good thing for everyone.

With AT&T, we have band's 2, 4, 12, 14, 30 up here in Mendocino County, Band 5 is owned by Verizon and U.S. Cellular.

I wouldn't say it's stupid, it certainly has done a lot of good, as you stated, win win.

Let me rephrase, redundant.. but At least the general public will actually benefit from this waste of tax money.
