    Freedom has been going down a lot lately. I think this is the third time for me in about 3 months now. They need to get this under control if they ever really want to go up against the Robellus juggernaut.

    Lots of data disconnections. Shows LTE but no data up or down! This network failure definitely “violates” network quality agreement that Apple demands for their phones!

    Just shows how bad Apple wanted extra sales to ignore the quality of Freedoms network.

    I can't make outgoing call to toll free numbers today (in Calgary). I'm getting to the end of the line...

    Same thing happened to me yesterday for about 2 hours. Some calls would work, other calls to 888 numbers would disconnect right away. I'm getting to the point where I might switch our whole family back to one of the Big 3. Network on FM is very unpredictable lately. Not impressed.

    Anyone having data only issues today?
    I can send SMS and make phone calls. 3G and LTE data non existent on both my iPhone 8 Plus and wife’s iPhone 8 Plus.

    On hold with them now but “longer than normal wait times” of course.

    I don't use the network, unless I'm off the "WiFi" drug at home or work, but I don't have an issue. Or never had one.

    SMS is down in Edmonton. Don't know if it's city wide but for me in Windermere I can use MMS but not send/receive basic texts.
    Voice service is fine at the moment.
    Hoping this is an upgrade for VoLTE and/or RCS which I spotted mentioned elsewhere.

    Service been down in Edmonton for at least 2hrs. No voice or text at least for me. Roaming of course will only allow texting

    What's with the horrible sound quality and the dropped calls in the past two days!!

    People complain the can't hear me or the voice is cut off with random dropped calls.

    Called the customer service, and they offered 50% off the next month's bill!

    Csr suggested that Freedom is aware of the issue and they are trying to resolve as fast as possible.

    I have not used the network for calls unless I have to. I used FaceTime and Skype to do it all. I did not have this issue, and that's if I was not on the WiFi drug.

    I hadn't noticed until yesterday..

    While I was roaming (most of the time) or on WiFi calling (also, most of the time) it was fine...

    I talked to a buddy of mine who was on on the Home network and he sounded like he was talking through a desktop fan (or flying a helicopter). I thought it was his cheap Bluetooth headset.

    Then I got into the Home network, and called the house for last minute whiskey and wine orders (OK, mostly wine, as I use the whiskey and don't need to call home to find out what to buy)and it was bad for me too. When I got back to the house and on WiFi, it was fine again.

    If I was a betting man, I might think this could be VoLTE growing pains or the engineers trying a lower rate CODEC.
