    so what would happen to reputable unlocking businesses who provide legit unlocking services, will they go broke/bankrupt?

    Well, they were never really legit, they were grey at best. (Not to say they werent providing a valuable and needed service) They'll have to adjust to a new environment, as any business eventually does.

    Maybe they can start focusing on offering unlocks to US customers.

    Hehe who cares about their business. If legit or not i never got warranty problems if i had my cell unlocked and then sent for repair. Sometimes i got it back locked but used same code and worked. Or even better got it back unlocked.
