T-Mobile being blamed in young boys death.

I'm not a network guru and I don't understand how this could occur. If anyone has knowledge on this issue please share.

This sounds like he issue where the city of Dallas was blaming TMobile that turned out to be an issue with the city's 911 system itself.

Thanks for the additional links. I'm sure the lawsuit will continue with multiple parties being defendants.

What a tragedy, I can't imagine the suffering that the parents are going through.

IIRC, after all the finger pointing about these incidents was over, the conclusion was that The Dallas 911 system was antiquated, understaffed, and a kludged together mess. Nothing to do with T-Mobile.

That won't stop ambulance chasing lawyers from trying to score a big settlement on contingency.

Any kind of cellular or wireless/radio technology is best effort on a good day. There is no guarantee of system availability or coverage. This is common sense.

Even landlines have no inherent guarantee that a call will be completed. People need to stop relying on others and take their well being into their own hands.

While it must be awful for the parents, I can't wait until this case is thrown out of court.

Not trying to point fingers, but I don't think a parent should leave their infant kid with a care taker who doesn't have access to a car. The lady spent 40 mins on hold trying to get in contact with a 911. I'm pretty sure she could have drove the kid to a medical facility in that amount of time.
