    T-Mobile Accused of "Raging War On Prayer."

    For charging $0.01 per minute for those who call into prayer lines. This accusation sounds a little bit over the top IMHO.

    I think these lines are based on rural exchange numbers in places like Iowa where the local phone companies have higher termination charges than usual. These "Prayer Lines" are in effect a for-profit operation. The longer you're on the line the more the local phone company makes and kicks back to the operator of the line. It's a racket.
