Me, too. There are a number of complaints about that offered 2nd LTE SIM Card for $0.01, which isn't showing up in the order summary or the online account, at https://slickdeals.net/f/9723468-fre...pping#comments !

Haha. I posted the same thing over there. That's where I found the deal.

*Edit - I'll be happy either way, but I'd love to have that 2nd sim for a friend.

I bit on the second SIM for 1c when I got the global (3G only) SIM, but the system did not allow me to add Freedom Friends for each SIM since it was the same account. So I had 700 MB for the first SIM but only 200 MB for the second.

If it still works that way it may be worth the extra $2 for a separate account.

You should keep your Global sim to "Give" 100mb per month to your LTE sim.

Wasn’t it on sale for $0.01 for Black Friday?

I have over 30 friends. Don't want to risk any stray charges from FP

Btw it's automated cancellation when you call. No need to speak to an agent.

Freedom Friends automatically earn you 50mb per month, every month, up to a max of 500mb. In addition to that, five sims can "Give" you 100mb per month, but it is not automatic every month - it has to be "Given".

So if your LTE sim gets 200mb (base) + 500mb (Freedom Friends) you get 700mb per month. In addition to that you can also "Get" another 500mb per month that is "Given" to you by other sims on a month-by-month basis, meaning that your LTE sim would have 1200mb for that month.

If you want that extra 500mb per month you will have to contact five of your Freedom Friends and ask them to each "Give" you 100mb for that month. I suggested for you to keep your Global sim so that your Global sim could "Give" your LTE sim 100mb per month.

I just received my LTE sim. Unfortunately, the 1˘ extra sim was not sent. Just ran a couple speed tests from inside my home in Toledo, OH.

Is that normal for your area? Seems low like you're being throttled.

Speeds and connection type indicate a 4g, *not* lte connection.

According to specs at gsmarena, your phone is capable of lte on the following bands.

    LTE band 2(1900), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 13(700) - XT1609

Could be lte is only supported on band 12 or 17 in your area?

That is faster than normal for my area. A friend has ATT postpaid and doesn't get any better than I do on Tracfone and Freedompop LTE. Could the friend's Galaxy S4 be part of the problem? Doesn't matter. It's as fast as we need.

I didn't realize the 4g. Just ran another in my house with LTE. I've only had cricket in the past (for AT&T) and consistently got a bit over 8mbps.
