That's what I've thought, but I both have Koodo and Virgin Mobile, same device (Iphone 6s plus) but Virgin LTE download speed is at least 10MB faster than Koodo in my area. Rogers is way too slow.

    Hello Guys,

I'd like to ask if anybody has any experience with the Koodo "SEASONAL HOLD PLAN"??

My phone is currently on "Seasonal Hold" ($15/month) just got back from abroad.. and I'd to make this change!

And I just wondering if I need to change back first to a Regular Ontario Plan, and after I can request a QC number#

    OR

I can request a QC number right away from this "Seasonal Hold"... and go from there ...

Does anybody know anything about this??

I would really appreciate any advice or ideas!!
    Thanks, David

Anyone know how long it takes an order from the online Koodo store to ship? I'm on a QC plan in ON. I chose to buy the phone outright. I placed the order this past Saturday. I understand nothing will progress over the weekend. It's now been two full business days and still no shipping confirmation. The charge was on my card the day I placed the order. If anyone has any input on it I'd really appreciate it.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello all,

Currently i'm on the $48/5GB MB plan which i got two years ago . did the whole thing by following instructions found here

I've been looking to get more data but missed the Koodo QC 8GB plan. However, on kijiji people are offering $45/month for 10GB . when i contacted them they said its with Telus.

does anyone have this plan or know of a loophole to get this?

I doubt they will give you that plan, most are promising but are fraudulent, simply there to take your money as most do ask for 50% upfront on these unique plans that no one has ever heard of.

Can I use my phone before it gets switched over the the QC plan on the first day of the billing cycle? I have changed my phone# to QC. But have not changed the plan over yet. Can I use it still? Or do I need to wait until the plan is changed and my current #is ported?
    Thanks!

Quite simple really: systemic throttling which prioritizes QoS over bandwidth.

The towers are shared but the backhaul is not. Speeds will not be equal.

Bell told me Virgin signals and speed are throttled. Virgin mobile only gets 1/3 of Bell's network.

I don't know if Telus does the same to Koodo, but when asked several network engineers , they said there is no throttle for Koodo customers.

So, does Bell get full network speeds/signal over Telus & Koodo?

I don't think this is true. When I was with Virgin, my signal and speed is almost identical with my co-worker's Bell. We both have the same phone (Iphone 6s) and we tested it out of curiosity and there were no throttling...maybe just off by a few 1-5 mbps which is really nothing.
