Yeah I've been talking about the option based deception selling in the OP. Mandatory to present 3 options, leveraging the second two against how bad the first one really was. Slapping hum in a bag and have my manager go installed in their vehicle

AT&T and Verizon are greedy, plain and simple.

Authorized dealers can be bad news too. At the mall today I heard a VZ Authorized Dealer try to convince an old lady that it was better to cancel her old line and get a new phone with a new number when all she was trying to do was upgrade her phone with her existing phone number.

Contract ended Dec 19, 2016. Most recent bill had a $40 charge for the period Dec 11 - Jan 10. They didn't prorate the $40/$20 access charge. Called on the phone and the rep tried BSing me that it was correct. I told him that the access charge is billed in advance and I can see the 12/11-1/10 dates right in front of my eyes. He wouldn't give in, but I stood my ground and he eventually gave up and gave me a $20 credit. We'll see what next month's bill has for the access fee.

It would have been credited back automatically on the next bill. You're billed a month in advance for the features on the line the day of the billing cycle. At that point it was $40. A few days later the feature will automatically change to $20 and the system will automatically credit back the difference for the rest of the cycle. You jumped the gun.

A couple weeks ago I noticed my downloads would take forever to start. Once started they were as fast as usual, it was just the initial 10-20 second wait before they would even start. SpeedTest showed OK download speed (30-50MB) but horrid upload (1-2MB and often less than 1MB).

Sure enough, this morning (first day of new billing cycle), my speeds are back to normal. Downloads start instantly.

Im guessing they are "throttling" (in quotes, because they will never call it that) unlimited data users. My data usage for last cycle was a whopping 4.5GB, Im not those users that use it as a hotspot for my at-home internet connection. I basically downloaded a few ROMs for my phone (Nexus 6P) and streamed slacker and spotify while at work.

What gets me is that I could "upgrade" to a Family Share plan and use more than 4.5GB...would they "throttle" me then, too?
You copy and pasted this from your other thread. Others with UDP have not experienced what you have experienced. Most likely a fluke.
