    3GB for 15$ with a FREE tablet LG G PAD III 8.0

I'm making a separate thread as the original 3GB for 15$ is from September and probably many members are not aware of the new promo to check new replies on that thread.

Make sure the following 3 codes are on the account. You DO NOT want to sign up for easy pay. It has to be a contract 2 years. Easypay you will end up paying the taxes on tablet on the 1st bill.

Plan Number: FCN2DT001 -$10 data only plan 2 year plan !!!
RS010MA0Q - $10 discount for data only plan (auto deployed by system when the fcn2dt001 is added)
    DSPSRA1K8 - $15 3 Gb data addon.

I personally went into BB and got a 50$ gift card with best buy, 25$ in referral (used a referral code - must be applied before activation), Free LG PAD III all for 15$/mth + tax.

At BB they screwed up and signed me on easy pay. Had to go through a few reps to make sure the correct codes are deployed on my account, not be on easy pay and not have to pay the tax on tablet. There have also been reports you can sign up online for this (therefore no one time transaction charge of 15$, but also no BB credit).

All credit goes to the members of RFD forum for this info.

Will the $10 for data only plan discount end in 2 years?

Yea but the 10$ charge for the tab will also end. So the price will stay 15$ + tax unless they jack up the price or change their plan after the contract.

This was such a great deal. I use it in my iPhone while at work.

What is the full price of the tablet? Just want to calculate the tab payments if I leave early.

It drops 10$ every month. So after the 2 year contract, it will be 0$.

New customers too, eh? When I went to Fido.ca it suggested that you had to be an existing customer for this deal. Hmmm... Maybe I was looking in the wrong place (perhaps there's a regular tablet plan and the promo plan on different pages of their site), I'll check again.

The previous promo (about a month ago) had this requirement

The plan is great for a dual SIM phone if it is paired to a 7-11 or Chatr plan.
It costs 25 cents to send a text where it is free for incoming text.
Using it for voice call (or receiving) is a no go .

You can send text at 25 cents each.
Incoming text is free. If you are careful, that is manageable as a stand alone cell phone
Test done on an Android. I trust iPhone can do sms on that SIM

Why pay that when you can get fongo unlimited text for a month for 2$. You aren't going to be receiving or making calls, so it's not like you care about the number. And then you can also make calls.

The offer is still available (minus the free PAD III), 15$ for 3GB (and less chance they will screw the billing). 25$ too for referrals.
