Noticed it too. I guess that is the reason why prices are going up. Freedom has to spend your money to explain to you why you should use the service.

Like the Jingle, but the 4 points with Freedom from overages, gouging, flat month fees and affordable everything is information overload. "For many who never seen or heard of this info"

Freddy's voice makes me ROFL though.

I will never buy an HTC ever again! (two broke within 4 years, which were well taken care of)

Learn about price collusion, https://www.reddit.com/r/canada/comm...n_of_canadian/ Canada has the highest utility rates in the G7 countries. Say no to price collusion, be informed of the CCTS, Industry Canada and the CRTC. The working class needs affordability in today's society.

Thanks for posting those; I had not seen the ads.

Is it just me or does the tune in the last video sound a lot like the "Cars for Kids" jingle?

    pretty catchy;

    "Wind was the carrier,
    That gave us a voice.
But now Freedom mobile is here,
    Offering REAL choice.

For customers that hung in there,
    Our network's improving.
    For the rest of Canadians,
    Here's why Freedom's worth choosing.

    Freedom from overages,
    Freedom from gouging,
    Flat monthly fees,
    No L-T-Es...

    Wah, oh, oh,
    When you've had enough,
    Getting network coverage
    Is really tough.

    Freedom will make you sing,
    Affordable Everything!
    Even though your phone
    Will never ring.

    Wah, uh, oh,
    You chose to be,
On a Network with no LTE.

    Wah, wah, wah
    It will be okay,
Another carrier promo plan is on the way"

For customers who hung in there, our network is improving.
Every time I hear this part of the song, it like a slap in the face. It's been 7 years, why are we still just improving. Do I need another 7 years of this?

No, their commercials is a constant reminder that I still have lines to port out.

It's like they're trolling themselves at this point.

Would you expect any less from the tonedeaf marketing department of a big cableco?

OMG, just heard the Radio Ad again on 680. I think it may be music plagiarism........... perhaps copyright?

Hey if Robin Thicke got dinged for Marvin Gaye's tune for the song Blurred Lines, its fair game for the inference of copyright.

That's the thing I know the people and their agencies that worked on the branding and marketing towards this. I don't agree with the final product freedom approved but I expected better for sure.

I need to remind my self what shaw did for their mascot and branding LOL! In which case freedoms is better.

The WIND logo appears on the screen in one of those commercials and then the lady in the ad sings "when you've had enough, choose Freedom". I know that's not the intention of the commercial (at least I hope it isn't), but saying "when you've had enough" right after the WIND logo almost sounds like an encouragement to switch cell phone companies if you are already a customer - almost a good as Bell's "we charge more: one more reason to choose Bell" campaign (members who have around about 10 years will understand that reference). And "For customers who hung in there, our network's improving": Did they just call their network crap?! Then again, it could also be interpreted as "give us a(nother) chance; we are better than before". It really depends on how you look at it.

I also thought that. Is it deliberate? Maybe...

Domino's did have a series of commercials made a few years back, pretty much making fun of their poor product.

The bear's not cute. There are satirical undertones. Is it wrong if I want to punch the bear?
