    Who here will ditch unlimited?

Now we know for a fact Verizon will price gouge, I mean provide equal network access by raising unlimited data user's prices when their contract ends.

Who will keep unlimited with the increase and how much will this affect you?

Forgot the option I love the most:

Locked in new 2-year contracts right under the wire - 2 more years at $30/line

Missed the boat but I am just paying the extra. Worth it to me...and not much cheaper to leave.

Living in a rural area subject to extended power outages, no option comes close in versatility. Have 1 Loyalty UDP line for home and 1 for work/travel. Probably revisit this thread in October of 2017.

How about the 3rd option for those who were smart enough to lock in 2 more years and make $500 selling an Iphone and avoided the $480 2 year increase cost back in November ?

Waiting to see what happens. I've had the $20 data discount for over 5 years so I don't mind if my data plan actually just goes up to the $29.99 ($49.99-$20).

If I lose the $20 discount as well as the rate going up $20 I'm gone. I only use 3-4 gigs a month and buy devices at full price. No reason to stay if I'm paying $40 more in my opinion.

I'll see what happens next month.

They'll have to raise it another $40 before they get rid of me.

Just glad that my discount softens the blow (paying $40 for unlimited vs $50 MSRP)

I'm already two months into paying the extra $20. No way I'm giving up unlimited, unless they kick me off.

Same here, I'm under contract until 10/2017 and love it. Plus, I got a new phone for $200 that I sold for $450.

You really should have thought to include that option in your poll.

Let it be a warning to others...

I tried the bestbuy trick. Bought a new phone to get a contract before the price increase. At first all was well.
My new contract pushed out 2 years, got discounted price on phone, and kept unlimited. So best of all worlds for 2 billing cycles.
Also, no $20/mo increase in my unlimited plan cost.

    Then...

Got auto-moved to a 2Gb plan. Due to pro-ration got warning text I was out of data at 1Gb usage. They changed my plan date, charged me $40 phone upgrade fee etc.

So yikes, when it ends badly it really ends badly. Not complaining mind you.

    -Dan

PS: Had it over to do, I think i'd just pay the $20/mo increase and not upgrade my phone.
