I know. I was able to use that screen to opt out of binge on even though i don't have data stash. Just enter your info and it lets you toggle it on or off per line.

I ended turning Bingeon off, but using the Netflix Example Short video I'm only getting the below results. I'm in an area which is getting around 30mb down. It seems like Bingeon is still active even though it has been disabled. Is anyone else getting higher rates, on a cellular connection?

    Bitrate: 1750 kbps
    Res: 720x480
    Par: 32:27

Just tried it.. how do you confirm if you have BingeOn actually on or off, in your situation?

I'm still having a hard time streaming 720P content and up. It's like the towers are super congested.

Let me know if you find out, I still can't find it anywhere.

Also is it true that some data gets counted and only the main film doesn't?

In my case, it can't be on the phone. I have an unlocked non-TMO device. If I don't subscribe, I don't get bothered. I asked originally when TMO started the music streaming. They said - don't subscribe. I didn't want that, either. I didn't see any place to turn that off, and still don't.
    Binge On was under profile.

Did you try rebooting the phone after you turned Binge On off? Sometimes a reboot helps. Does your phone have the ability to tell you which app is using what amount of data?

    thanks for the reply.

yea I kinda gave up on looking for Binge on--- disabled, I looked everywhere.

yea the LG has the counter for data for the apps and I looked at Crackle (which is the only one I use currently to stream cause its free) and it showed only 33mb but after I used it, TMO data used shows before it was 8mb then after Crackle it went to 73mb.

I was told by them that previews/commercials etc are counted towards data but the actual movie/show isnt.
(cannot find this anywhere in the Terms etc)

If thats the case then I wont be using any streaming data.

    EDIT:

Just got off phone with Tech and tested more apps with Binge On and all took from data.

Ticket was filed, obviously not working. They said I never enabled it. I said how could I when there was absolutely no option to do so and I thought all these Nov 15 plans came with Binge On already enabled?

They said, no, they arent enabled, this is not what I read however.

Well at least the Music Freedom works as it should!

I have no clue if its working correctly, seems like all of it is coming out of the data. Still have no buttons to disable/enable BO anywhere as well.

Thanks for reply, I have been to that area a few times, it just isnt there at all, its missing. Dunno why. They have a ticket going, worse part is all my data was being used for the supposedly binge on apps.

    thanks, me too.

Even more frustrating is they say its on but still eats data up. I can live with no option of disabling it but the eating up of the data using BO listed apps is just plain silly.
