No option to turn Binge On.....off

Noticed that there's no option to turn it off online. Just shows an option to add it to my account, though it's on the account.

If I choose to add it, it's showing it's not effective till next bill cycle.

Yea thanks. I know it's supposed to be there but for some reason it's only accessible thru the app on my phone, not online.

Also discovered Crackle was taking all my data though it's on their list for app for binge on.

Just used 80mbs for like 5 mins of Crackle to test it.

I had the same problem. But then I checked my Datamatch line under Profile and there it was. Once you've checked Datamatch then that somehow opens the gateway to allow you to check the other lines during the same session. You will need to repeat these steps every time you log back in.

    Ok will look for that.
    thanks.

CSR told me that parts of the video program used (ie. Crackle is what I tried today) like previews and surfing to types of videos (TV, Movies etc) are counted towards the data included in the plan and that only the movie/TV show itself is excluded from drawing from the data.

    Is this true?

I cant tell at all how much I have used watching something. I know the data is going up and up though with the binge on.

MetroPCS was supposed to add the option (to turn Data Maximizer on or off) to their MyMetro app, but as of today they have still not done so. They need to remedy this situation and make the option available to their users. Apparently it has been switched ON by default without the proper tools for users to turn it OFF (Beyond calling in or online chat).

My friend was able to log in to their account on the website and turn off data maximizer. Did you check there?

Do you mean that you have to disable Binge on every time you log in or do you need to check Datamatch every time you log in?

I found it under Media in my account. I turned it off, I don't want it.

Nope. My post only applies to certain folks. You only need to do what I said if you need to check it or disable/enable it. Some of the grandfathered plans don't play nice with the current my.t-mobile website so we have to rely on workarounds. If you can access the Media settings then you can disregard the post.

I have streamed only Crackle cause is free and it is taking from my 6gb data. CSR said some will come from the data but the acutal movie/show wont?

I have no clue if its working correctly, seems like all of it is coming out of the data. Still have no buttons to disable/enable BO anywhere as well.

    Thank you.
I was wondering how I was supposed to opt out of this feature.
I don't see the point in this if I have unlimited data.

You can get a free movie from VuDu every month, supposedly.

I don't see an option to turn bingeon off. I'm on the pref 600 nw plan.
I've checked profile on both my phone browser and computer browser (chrome), but not the app since I have removed the app from my phone.

I used this link to opt out. Even though it refers to data stash which I don't have because I'm on an unlimited plan, opting out did turn the video compression off on my count:

Thanks Jet, but I'm specifically looking for the BingeOn option that I can't seem to locate.

Is a free movie rental per account or per line of UDP? Lets say I have 12 lines of UDP on my account... Will I get 12 VUDU rentals per month?
