It's been active since before the Pope visit. It's on the same building as a Verizon site. I don't get these texts either haha but I can see it on the AT&T app.

Going back to Verizon though, do you know how speeds are for them along the river? Any better than the Watertown area or just as bad?
Speeds are fine along the river in my experience, no congestion like in Watertown. (Much more rural)

I can't say as today was the first time that I've actually used this App with my 6S Plus. I'll have to do more testing with it over the weekend and see if my speeds go any higher.

AT&T made some sort of upgrade here at Rice over the past month that brought the network from borderline unusable most of the time to this... no clue what it was, I know we had CA before, but I'm not complaining Name: ImageUploadedByHoFo1447396709.328358.jpg

It'll be nice when AT&T can put to use some ubiquitous spectrum to get those upload speeds on par with download speeds.

Looks like upgraded backhaul. Instead of both bands sharing the same line, they each got there own. So figure roughly 80 Mbps down × 3 sectors × 2 bands. Here in my section of Queens. The newest sites with band 17 x 2 will cap at 80 down. The sites that have had it for 6 or more months push 100 through the afternoon.

I'm not sure, I know they do in Watertown and Ogdensburg, as confirmed on Samsung Galaxy phones. I wish you could check on iOS..
