Free 30 days of service when your bring your number to Straight Talk

"For a limited time only, bring your phone to Straight Talk and get 30 days of free service and a free sim card with plan purchase"

Too bad this is ONLY for the T-Mobile side of straight talk. Still not a bad gig if you have great T-Mobile service in your area. Just thought I'd share this information since I haven't seen it posted here yet, this must be a brand new offering.

What are your thoughts? Are you going to sign up and take advantage of this deal?

Correct but free service is free service. Of course Straight Talk isn't going to allow the first month to be free, way too many people would sign up to use the free service and then leave.

    Haha yep!

I know that is what I would do.
So I'm passing this deal up.

But it is a great offer if you were going to use Straight Talk.

I wonder if you could sign up with the free T-Mobile SIM and switch it to an AT&T one after its active. I've switched between Verizon and AT&T SIMs within the same 30-day period before with no problems.

You go about it just as if you're upgrading from a ST phone to a new phone, I did it through the forms online but you can do it through customer service as well

Actually, it is a free T-Mobile sim and two $45/month cards.

I tried it and this is the message I got:

Successfully added T-Mobile Regular SIM + Two $45 Monthly Plans into your cart.

This means that you may be able to buy the sim and cards and use the cards on another current plan.

has anyone ordered this yet and can confirm one or the other? I could always go buy the ATT sim at walmart for 0.99 and use the monthly pins
