Usc roams too much unless you never leave their native network areas they were very deceptive when i had them awhile back about their data roaming. Not worth the price they charge imo. Until they can get that LTE roaming at or near your plan allotment I'll pass. When i had them i had prepaid and there was NO data roaming at all! First time i found out i was pretty pi$$ed that i had been spending $55/mo+tax for that. I wonder if their prepaid plans are still like this?

Probable but not until USCC gets VoLTE deployed. Given the comments so far by USCC execs, seems as though their VoLTE rollout is going to be slow (in typical USCC fashion). So I would expect B12 roaming agreements announced for this year but only in a few markets (where VoLTE is deployed for USCC).

Yeah I don't think we're first for VOLTE here in Maine either. We were pretty much first for LTE if memory serves.

I'm pretty certain we won't see an AT&T or Verizon roaming agreement, so that pretty much leaves third party roaming partners. For instance, Northeast Wireless provides roaming LTE here for Verizon. I assume they can also market that for whoever else wants to pay.

Wish USCC was more open with that was going on.
Up here too, Sprint doesn't have coverage in our county (Mendocino) in rural Northwestern California, they roam on USCC for service. Sprint's coverage across the rest of Northwestern California, and NorCal is plain sad.

Maine was among the first markets to launch. (Wisconsin was another one, I can't remember the rest.)

Has anyone been able to LTE roam on a device other than an Apple? I was out of USC coverage in late February and still could not LTE roam on Sprint with my Nexus 6. Still on PRL 16028, although I read somewhere (maybe s4gru) that it is not PRL dependent.

I have no idea who is US Celluar's LTE roaming partner is. T-Mobile seems to be the only carrier of the "Big 4" that also uses Band 12. However as far as I was aware, US Cellular is a CDMA carrier. Comparing the coverage map of Verizon Wireless to US Cellular, they're identical, including the dead zones. When I was traveling in New England back in 2014, I ended up Domestic Roaming on US Cellular from Verizon, and I was getting voice, 3G, and LTE. Maybe because the iPhone 5 supports Band 5 is why I had LTE?

Currently, it's Sprint, they and USCC have a LTE roaming agreement that went into effect a few months ago.

USCC serves our market up here in Mendocino County in rural Northwestern California, but Sprint doesn't have service in our county, so Sprint uses USCC for service. Sprint has always roamed on USCC here, but up until that agreement, it was EVDO only.
