Decided to try all their network tech and not just LTE. I gotta say, with good signal tmobile's hspa+ is faster than at&t's in my area. And also tmobile's EDGE is interesting.... speed tests show it as being slightly slower than at&t's at about .15mbps up/down but the ping times are way better (100-200ms) so it's actually much more usable. Att's edge may as well not exist because it's got so much latency.

    Do you mean 15 kb/s?

    Yes here's all 3 LTE, H+, EDGE top to bottom. All band 2 and/or 4. Phone doesn't support 12 and I don't think it's here anyway.

On a side note, I'm extremely impressed with T-Mobile EDGE call quality, I'd say it may even be clearer than AT&T's HSPA+. In contrast, whenever I made a call on AT&T EDGE it would cut in and out constantly, be all garbled, or just drop completely.

Yeah edge call quality is very good. I noticed right away after switching to T-Mobile from cricket that the call quality is better on H+ too. I was very surprised that I was able to use my Google Voice Number via hangouts on EDGE! That would have never worked on att.

T-Mobile still needs to work on deep building penetration though.

Is your area part of the recent B12 spectrum acquisitions?

    T-Mobile LTE Speed Tests

Right outside my work, in comparison AT&T has weak unusable B17 LTE (0.1-3 Mbps) and EDGE/No Service inside while I get 2-3 bars LTE inside

Do you have B4 there or is it just B2/12?

There is also 20x20 B4. First I have seen B2 in my area which was surprising to see this pairing.
