Most Cricket plan changes (if they happen) go live in the afternoon. IF such a rumor was true, I don't think the would launch it before their $100 promo ended (1/7). Given that GoPhone may be raising buckets, I wonder if we'll see an across the board increase in data.

Hold on guys something may be coming from cricket tomorrow. This is part of front page from droid-life.com today. We can only hope?!!

UPDATE 1/6: AT&T reached out and confirmed the changes to us. The only difference is the new plans and upgraded data bucket amounts will be live on January 8, not January 6 as we originally reported.

Tomorrow, AT&T will introduce some changes to their prepaid plans that include more data without a price hike, according to sources of ours.

Any way to get 20GB plan?

I got a confirmation on Twitter. But the Advanced Plan seems to be up in the air.

So the advanced 20gb plan may not be coming back but if they add between 1-5 to the pro plan I am jumping on that one. 10gb for $55 is still a good deal and plenty of data for me.

The article is referring to AT&T go phone, not cricket.

They may match what Boost will give you with their growing data, without making you wait 18 months to get it. That would also be a better data deal that what Metro is offering. I'll wait to see what changes they offer. If it's good enough, I'll transfer and start using my OnePlus 2 with them.

I think everyone is guessing that more data is being added to both companies. GoPhone is given higher priority, so it makes more sense for them to get extra data first. As long as Cricket matches what the competition offers, they'll always have an advantage because of having a better network.

Cricket doesn't really match anyone head to head. All of the carriers prepaid brands have their own little variations.

Does Verizon prepaid have account numbers or just my phone number and pin will be required to port back to cricket this weekend??? When I login to my Verizon, I don't see account number anywhere.

    Tia,

Yes, you need to call them for the account number. I can't remember what the PIN is supposed to be, it might be the PIN for MyVerizon OLAM if it's numeric, but I'm not sure of that.

    From Dennis he da man

Verizon Postpaid - Account # (on bill) ends in -00001 - passcode is "call-in" passcode when you call customer service. It is usually the last 4 digits of your social security number (unless you specifically changed it to something else).

Verizon Prepaid – Account Number is*10 digits, a dash ( - ) and 00001 (0123456789-00001). and the password is your 4 digit security PIN.
