I quit the dithering and bought the M8. It was down to that or the Xperion Z1S. HTC has better speakers.
I concluded that to save $20 a month I'd be jumping through too many hoops.

As I have some catching up to do, might make sense to go with one of these $200 M7s I'm seeing here and there. Saw one today, supposed to be new in box for $217.
I gather that there's been trouble with speech to text on this one. I'm think I'm getting that right.
At any rate, anyone know of some compelling reason why my idea is half-baked? I'm currently with T Mobile in Bay Area and planning to stay with that FWIW.

My camera never could focus. But it's built like a tank for a smartphone and awesome speakers. I'm with you though. Save you $400 compared to buying a new model. This one isn't all that old.
Don't go with second choice when you have already decided to go with HTC One M7.
I also want to have a HTC phone.
