Thanks, but I've been mapping the streets around my house daily for the past 5 days and it still shows August on Sensorly.

I decided to make this topic based on a post that bkin94 made here.

Basically, we're hoping that people can put together comparison images (or better yet, animated GIFs via this) of Sensorly in their area, to get a decent idea of new LTE sightings and upgrades.

I'll be keeping track of the US as a whole. Since Sensorly's site doesn't let you zoom out enough, I manually stitched together some images to make this (I didn't include Alaska or Puerto Rico):

Do keep in mind that there are probably many areas that have been upgraded, but just haven't been mapped yet.

The GIF map now shows the first month (June 2014), the previous month (February 2018) and the latest month (March 2018), instead of all the months, to better show changes.

    Map updated March 2018

I won't be keeping these going. The new Sensorly UI change and all the missing data make monthly comparisons pointless.

Sensorly has been really sucking lately about adding new map data. Emailed them twice and no response. Thinking of just uninstalling the app and trying something else. Open Signal’s app never seems to work right for me though.

I'm running all the apps on multiple devices.

Two great smartphone apps to find cell towers and map actual coverage areas
    1. Cellmapper
    2. OpenSignal
If You're With AT&T Wireless as your Cell Provider, Use the "AT&T Mark The Spot App" to report an issues with your service, like, no connection, slow speeds, no coverage, drop calls...etc

Crowdsourcing has always been a con.

"We'll need at least 2,000 employees." "No, we can just con people into spending their spare time working for us for free."
