    bought delete single log from nokia ovi store but having problems

    Hi there, I just bought delete single log from nokia's ovi store

    but I can't get it to work, it prompts me an error saying there is a problem with the certificate. And now the support page directs me to a microsoft page. Can't find any help any place.


    can you help me somehow?

    You need to give more information. What device are you trying to install it on? Perhaps you need to "hack" your phone and get rid of the certificate checks. Many people have moved on from Symbian but I agree that it is not dead yet.

    Help is going to be hard to come by. Pretty much everything Symbian on Nokia's site redirects to Microsoft (now that they own Nokia) or to a dead link. And the publishers who created a lot of Symbian software have just abandoned it.

    One easy thing to try is to reset your phone's date to the same date as the software version you're trying to install. If that does not work, come back, tell us what exact program you're using, the exact error you're getting, and we'll see if there's a way to help you.

    Finally I solved the problem, I had to hack the phone, now it installs.

    The damn microsoft support page doesn't even list the n79 as a nokia phone...
