AT&T Wireless Home Phone & Internet Goes Nationwide

    http://blogs.att.net/consumerblog/story/a7795364

Starting tomorrow, Wireless Home Phone & Internet availability is expanding nationwide. Customers across the U.S. will be able to get Wireless Home Phone & Internet and enjoy more flexibility with their home phone and Internet service, all while keeping their budget in check.

How does it work? AT&T Wireless Home Phone & Internet allows customers to complete calls from their existing home phone handset using the AT&T wireless network—which covers more than 99% of all Americans— instead of a landline connection. This means that you have the option to keep your existing home phone number and handsets, and take your Wireless Home Phone & Internet device called “Home Base” with you on vacation, to a remote work location, second home, or any other location in the United States where there is an AT&T wireless connection. In addition, you get mobile Internet service (including access to 4G LTE where available) by connecting up to 10 Wi-Fi capable devices such as tablets, smartphones and laptops, all in one device.

And the set-up is easy: Just locate an area within your home or office with a good cellular signal, plug your Wireless Home Phone & Internet device (Home Base) into an electrical outlet, connect your existing corded or cordless home phone equipment into the device – and you’re all set!

Our nationwide expansion of Wireless Home Phone & Internet service is another way we’re working around-the-clock to provide more value. Wireless Home Phone & Internet customers can add their device for $30 a month to a Mobile Share Value plan with 10 gigabytes or more of shared data and get unlimited nationwide calling.[iv] Customers can also add World Connect Value for $5 a month and get penny-per-minute calling from the U.S. to Canada, Mexico and more than 35 other countries.

With Wireless Home Phone & Internet service, you can get the perks of 4G LTE mobile broadband access and more affordable home phone service, all in on device. With access to a wireless network that covers more than 99% of all Americans, for customers seeking great value and more flexibility, AT&T Wireless Home Phone & Internet service is a win-win.

If you read the original article, you will see that the author intended to use it to sell a product and service. If AT&T wanted to publish it on another website, they would have had to pay.

If AT&T had posted it then you'd be correct. Since Danny posted it, it's making the forum aware of the product. I don't foresee you conceding this, so I'll just say good day sir.

A verbatim abstract of the article from the AT&T website was posted. Forum rules do not even permit posting of links to commercial sales websites. Posting by someone who stands to benefit from sales may be a conflict of interest.

Damn you, I was into watching a fight that started about nothing anybody reasonable would waste the net on!

However, while not clear to me, one line sounds great, Especially with HD voice.

Your decision to withdraw from the discussion is not binding upon anyone else You joined the conversation after the point was made anyway, so this colloquy is not between just you and me.

There is a great difference between simply acknowledging the existence of a commercial product and actually publishing the sales pitch of the product's seller. Would General Motors stand by and let CNN broadcast a commercial for Ford and call it news? Someone who posts an employment advertisement in an AT&T sub-forum should act like Caesar's wife and be above suspicion.
