Hi. I am hoping someone can help me out because I have tried everything and this is one of my last two resorts.
Basically, my phone won't turn on. It was charged to 100% when I put it in the charging dock to sit and stay charged overnight. Note that it was still on. I get up Friday morning and it's off. I figured it died during the night because sometimes it does in the dock mysteriously. So I tried to power it on to plug it in the wall charger and I couldn't even do that, so I just let it sit on the wall charger for several hours. I checked it later and nothing. Panic starts to set it for I spent almost $600 on this phone. I have tried everything for the past few days. Pressing the power button for almost a minute. Nothing. Pressing the lower volume button then the power button for almost a minute and nothing. My fiancée even tried to power it on and leaving it on his charging dock for his HTC One and nothing. Idk what else to do and idk what is wrong with. I don't have anyone to take it to. I know you guys don't have it in your hands to get a good look at it but maybe you can brainstorm and come up with something I didn't. Thank you so very much in advance. You guys have always been most helpful.

Does the low battery screen come up?

No. The low battery screen does not come on and neither does the red light.
And just for clarification, we are talking about the HTC One M7.
Thanks.

Try holding your power button and volume down button for 5 seconds. You need to push the buttons at the same time to get this to work.
I assume you bought this phone outright. Send it into samsung and they should fix this seeing that there is no damage done to the device.

I tried holding the power button and the volume down button. It didn't work. I bought the phone off of Amazon from HTC and have contacted them regarding a warranty. I kinda figured it was a lost cause on my end which is why I contacted HTC on Amazon. Thanks for your help, guysツ
Hope you and your families had a great Easterツ

Why does that reply say 1/1/1970? Anyone else see that?
