Samsung ATIV S GT- i8750 - Questions - Storing contacts on SIM card.

After nine years with my Nokia 6100, I decided on a new Samsung ATIV S GT-i8750 Windows Phone.

This phone is unlocked so that I can slip local SIM cards in when I travel, as I have done in the past with my Nokia.

I have a few questions about contacts stored on the phone. At the moment, they are stored in People which gets updated when I am on-line and sign onto Hotmail. I'm not keen on that. There are people and numbers I like to maintain off-line and do not want "linked" to Outlook/Hotmail or whatever you want to call it.

How do you store your contacts list on the SIM card or on the microSD card. On my old Nokia, phone numbers were stored on either the phone or SIM card.

In the past I had all my numbers stored on my local and Euro SIM cards and they each need different dialing codes...calling home here is a different set of numbers than calling home when in Europe.

Or can I download and install a different contacts manager and scrap People.

A Big Thanks to anyone who can help.

    Solved the issue.

Since I do not want personal information off on some site snooped by who knows who, I stuck all my personal address, phone and e-mail contacts on a spreadsheet. Its not like I use my phone daily that I need all that stuff right on it.
