    Windtab

Hi there curious how long doe sit take to pay off a windtab. Girlfriends daughter signed up Dec 2011 with a Blackberry Curve 9360 phone tab was $349.00 just curious is there credit like $150 or $200 credited to phone. I know that 10% goes to tab and it is $40 plan. Is there a set time that the tab is wiped clean liek 3 yrs etc.

I think you should be able to see how much of a tab is left right on your bill or by viewing "My Account" on the Wind website.

I think previously it was 3-year payoff promise but has now been changed to 2-year payoff promise (for new Tabs).

Worst case scenario, maybe just try calling in to ask to see if there is a tab remaining? Don't know the Wind phone number off by heart, but I know you can dial 611 directly from a Wind phone.

    Well, following the math:
It's been 23 months since she signed up, and 10% of $40 is $4, so..
    23 months x $4= $92.
So the current tab amount should be $349-$92 = $257.

It should be wiped completely Dec 2014.

And yes, new tabs are 2 years. The older tabs are still 3 years.

For most of the phones on Wind the Tab isnt really worth it now unless you have the $50 plan. Anything under that, and the phones on tab are to expensive, and your better off buying it out yourself.

Paying $50 per month is starting to approach Robellus plan territory when you factor in even better hardware subsidies from them.

I think the $30 plan sucks now with the small $100 subsidy, but the $250 subsidy on the $40 is still ok.
