BTV (Bridge to Value) doesn't have anything to do with tzones. So he must be talking about Preferred Android Unlimited (PAU).

Sorry, I forgot to update last night. This is PAU.

Finally got a hold of a stateside rep who was better able to understand the issue. He said there was some sort of block on the line, though its been working for the past 3 months. I was also able to put the SIM in other phones and get data without issue, so it looked like an issue specific to the G2. However, after a couple of hours of him removing whatever block was on the line, web seemed to work fine again.

Anybody on the old grandfather plans with T-Zone got successfully moved to Select Choice without any hiccup and received unlimited data? Mind sharing how you got the plan, such as post card or contacting T-Mobile yourself, and how much was your original plan compared to Select Choice?

My T-zone and get more plan was moved to select choice 7GB, but I was able to see unlimited option online for same price and selected that.
Never got a postcard, just one day it changed.
My monthly bill is now about $1 cheaper than it used to be.

Is anyone still waiting for T-Mobile to migrate their grandfathered plan? I might start contacting them via Twitter and see what happens.

I have been on a $39.99 1000 minute plan, plus $4.99 texting and $5.99 T-Zones since Voicestream days. I never got a postcard, and held off calling, since they were saying the Select Choice plans would only be for 12 months if you called to migrate instead of waiting. Now, when I go to the change plans link on my-tmobile.com, I get a popup saying I cannot change plans online and to call the help number. I called loyalty today and the guy said that Select Choice plans were no longer in the system and impossible to get since the end of Feb. He added that if I had called them before then it would have been no problem to change. He also said that all the loyalty discounts had been eliminated. Basically, tough luck sucker. I am wondering if that is true, since vanquish15 was able to get Select Choice in April of this year.

So I got an answer from T-Mobile reps from Twitter regarding about plan migration, and they told me that the postcard that I received was mailed in error, and we cannot change your plan. Wow. I actually want T-Mobile to change my plan.

    Here's my plan:

    Family EM 750 Promo 2YC Reduced price - $54.99
Line 1 - AAL $5, no text and data
Line 2 - Plus 2GB Data Classic Reduced price - $5, AAL free, no text
Line 3 - AAL free, no text and data
Line 4 - AAL free, no text and data

$65 before tax and EIP. I am more benefited from the migration, maybe they think that they will lose money if they switch me to their new simple plans. What do you guys think I should do to convince T-Mobile to migrate me?

Tell them you want to switch to the Family Time 600 plan with Bridge to Value discount on all lines. Have them add Family Text for $9.99 and if you want data then have them add Preferred Android with Bridge to Value discount for $5.00 each line. If you switch to Simple Choice then the charges for data will triple.

Preferred 600 Family Time plan (with Bridge to Value) 39.99
    Family Text 9.99
    add a line $5
    add a line $5
    Preferred Android Data with Bridge to Value $5 x 4 = $20
~$80 for four lines with unlimited minutes and text on all lines and at least 5 gigs of data on all lines

vanquish15 made a change in April, but he had to press the issue to get the change made. My guess is the plans are still there, but, T-Mobile want easily make the switch without a threat to take your business elsewhere.

Are we able to add a $5 line to grandfathered family plans? Then add a $5 btv data plan to the new line if our main 2 lines already have them?
