    Can't Do AOL In Store?

Tried to do an assumption of liability in a corporate store but was told it can only be done over the phone for now. Is the correct?

Also, I'm on a nationwide 700min family plan. If I do the AOL will I have to switch to Share Everything?

    Thanks

I wouldn't risk it if it is even possible.

AOL dept has a lot better chance to keep grandfathered old plans and features. In my opinion, the store was looking out for you, their systems take away old plans on AOL transactions.

Sure you can do an Assumption of Liability at a store, it is done over the phone. Been this way for as long as I remember. It is handled by a specialty group dedicated to this type of transaction. It is much more economical/productive to keep the store reps active doing sales than doing AOL's.

It can be done in stores, I did a few today at my store, now if you have an older plan we can put it back on. If you have unlimited data you will lose it ever since they put new "enhancements" in recently. Over the phone they can keep it on

If I'm annoyed and you're annoyed, does that make us a paranoid ??

    ok, did it

Definitely call in yourself. During the call Verizon will send you an email asking you to accept/confirm the AOL. The email has your plan info. I did get to keep my plan.

Download any bills you need before the AOL. Once you do the AOL you won't have access to your old bills under the previous name

Any aol involving a business account is required to go through the business support center.

Aols involving, strictly, personal accounts can be done in the store.

That kind-of negates the whole purpose of wanting to do an AOL, if done at a store.

Don't worry. More 'enhancements' are coming.
