Sprint gets 2 new Windows Phones: HTC 8XT and the Samsung ATIV S Neo

Sprint just announced the HTC 8XT and Samsung ATIV S Neo. The HTC is $99.99 while the Samsung is $149.99 both on 2yr contracts plus you'll get a $50 reward card if you mail-in.

Exact availability dates haven't been revealed yet.

They appear to be Sprint versions of the HTC 8X and Samsung ATIV-S with some minor differences. I reviewed the 'regular' versions a while back. Notably, the HTC has a microSD slot.

The timing seems a bit odd since the regular versions have been around for a while now so a lot of their momentum is gone. Still, if they're anything like their regulars I'd go with the HTC 8XT simply for it's slick body.

    HTC 8XT
    • dual-core 1.4Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor
    • LTE support
    • 8/1.6MP camerras
    • 1GB RAM
    • 8GB ROM
    • microSD slot
    • 4.3" display
    • 1800mAh battery

    Samsung ATIV S Neo
    • dual-core 1.4Ghz processor (probably same as 8XT)
    • 1GB RAM
    • microSD slot
    • international roaming
    • 4.8" display
    • 2000mAh removable battery
    • ATIV Beam - sounds like S-Beam for compatible Samsung Windows Phone and Android devices
    • 8/1.9MP cameras
