    Sim card

I just received my Samsung galaxy 4 that I bought off eBay....its a brand new phone with no sim card. After waiting on hold with customer service for us cellular for 30mins the rep told me that they couldn't issue me a sim card, for what reasons she wouldnt say, anyone else ever had this problem?

Was the S4 specifically branded for US Cellular? When you say SIM card, are you referring to a GSM SIM (Which US Cellular doesn't use, and the phone would be completely incompatible with the network) or an LTE SIM card which would be required to access data? If they wouldn't activate it over the phone you may just need to take it into a store to sort it out, because US Cellular 4G phones come with the LTE SIM card in the box.

As long as it's a US Cellular phone it should have come with an LTE SIM card. Was the box unopened or was this a previously used phone? Either way, they usually come with the card, and if it didn't you may need to talk to someone in a store to see if they can activate a new one for you.

I don't think you will. The problem seems to be an education issue with the first person in customer service you for with.

No card like this in the box, the piece missing in the pic is where the SIM should be
