So looks like that $100 deal is now down to $50 off, 24 hours later (Best Buy). So never mind. Walmart had if for $379 today, but they too jumped back to $479 half an hour later. However, Amazon Google's store has it, back down to $100 off. I just placed an order for it. $379 for the 3A XL.

It might have something to do with harassing people with high balances. Everything is fine until the high balances are brought to TF's attention. The process choked on the 1500 addition. The new totals were just too much for the system. The 365 days was fine, but the whole thing had to be reversed.

I feel badly for anyone who has to go through a TF ordeal. Been there, done that.

They will also refuse to honor promo codes that are advertised on their website. It seems like the codes are discontinued without updating the website. I'm not surprised.

I've had several dealings with Miami with high balances. Never had a problem. I've had priors where balances didn't transfer and they took care of me. This most recent was because a phone was claimed to not have a bundle of air time attached that was bought on ebay. Its currently in route back to their drop shipper.

I have never had a problem with tf over high balances, but I did have them refuse to let me use phone's balances to activate a new phone due to the expiration date on the donor phone. Admittedly 2031 was a stretch, but I was told I could transfer the m/t/d but not the expiration date. When I asked what expiration date I would then have I was told "none" and that I'd have to purchase a new card to establish an expiration date.
Subsequently when I figured out that I could combine 2 phones (thank you, Hpham et al) in the process of doing so my final expiration was moved to 2044!! I told the csr about it and he said, basically, no worries, it will not cause a future problem. Needless to say I still have the transcript for that chat. Probably wont evr come up as that particular phone has a big enough balance and long enough expiration to outlive me, anyway.

Well, if you activate a phone with a transfer, that is technically going to combine two balances, assuming that the new phone comes with preloaded airtime. But that preloaded airtime is not on a SIM yet.

Combining two functioning SIMs must be trivial by comparison. No telling what TF will get hives about.

I've never had a problem transferring my large balances (~10k mins, ~10k texts, ~10 GB data).

That's true. But I'm a little disappointed in Target's Red Card early access sale as it only applies to a 100 or so items and doesn't include any prepaid phones.

Yeah, I`m at fault for not checking and noting such... when posting on a Cell Phone Forum.
I wasn`t looking for Target`s prepaid offerings and everything else I wanted from Target was at BF pricing.
