Shop cell deals now has a new factory sealed Tracfone Samsung S390 TMFL/3G/WiFi that activates with 365 days of service, bundled with a 200 minute/90 day card for $42.99.

Hello- new guy's 1st post. My phone is an old TracFone Motorola C261 with over 9 months & 2000 minutes on it, want to get a new phone & transfer old number & minutes to new TracFone. The LG 840G looks pretty good to me, been researching. I've found these deals currently on the TracFone LG 840G, thought it might be helpful to post them here. All prices ending in $.99, $.95, etc, are rounded up to the next dollar, & are for phones w/TMFL- but just phone, no bundles.

    From TracFone website(all black phones):
Remanufactured $20 shipped thru Aug 30
New $50 shipped, includes $15 gas card & free ship

    Seller shopcelldeals:
    On Ebay: white, $30 shipped
    Black, $43 shipped

    On Amazon: White, $33 shipped
    Black, $40 shipped

So far have found nothing to beat these deals.

Have also seen one claim that a $5 off code can be used at Tracfone site and you can still get free shipping even on the reman unit- since I get to pay sales tax at TF that would make $15 plus tax, & reviews of the remans are good, virtually all say the phones look brand new.

update- Placed the order, & I can confirm that using FRIEND1 in the promo box takes $5 off, & choosing the right shipping option gives free FedEx overnight(!) shipping. Found that info on slick deals. My total including Texas sales tax was $16.15.

Hey all! I ordered 2 refurbished Samsung S390's recently (great phone BTW). On the tracfone websight the refurbs are $19.99, come with TMFL and a 60 Min card. If you use promo code "FRIEND1" you get free shipping plus $5 off, the total with tax comes to $16.23 or something. The 60 min card alone is close to $22.00 with tax just by itself anywhere elese you buy it. So you get a discounted 60 min card plus a free phone, basically.
(In case someone is wondering, you don't have to activate the phone right away. You can use the 60 min card along with a promo code on your current tracfone.) Pretty good deal!

The 390 is TMFL. Is that other phone only DMFL? Easy mistake to make and lose 60 minutes.

    Doesn't matter, a 60 minute card is a 60 minute card.

If your current phone is DM and you want to keep using it, you can get a $20+tax card for $15+tax.

Certainly cheaper than if you just bough the card for $20+tax.

You could get more minutes by activating and adding to the TMFL phone, then transferring.

My comment had to do with to which phone the airtime was added, not the bundle. One sometimes forgets the difference in the multiplier between phones. The objective is the most minutes for whatever price paid for the airtime. We both said the same thing in a different way. I didn`t state it clearly enough.

Good point. In my case my other phone is also TMFL. But you'd still get a 60 min card for $16 vs the regular price of almost $22. So you'd still be saving money even if you put the card on a double min phone.
