Hello, i prepaired a little comparison of actual using ROM versions of Sharp SH7218u. Now we could make the best variant mixed from this ROMs.

Cool post, Straces! So far, I think those are all the available custom ROMs for SH7218u.

Btw, how about putting existing active links where to get the ROM?

Just try T9 in Perfect Keyboard, there is it present, but i never use T9 because i dont need it.




Or you can try Baidu input from Simple mod Rom, but all settings here are in Chinese language and i didnt understand anything.

OK, I will try it. Does it work with the hardware keyboard though?

I think Baidu input is excellent... Well, at least, the best of the worst.
I've previously tried Perfect Keyboard but I think it isn't mapped properly to the hardware keys? Only shows numeric, if I am not mistaken.

Give me a few more months guys... Then I will come up with more customisations on the ROM. Need to get another SH7218U specifically for development purposes, don't quite want to do that on my day-to-day SH7218U. Haha.

ADD: martindesu, if you have any links for me to catch up on the Chinese community over the SH7218U, just let me know. Hopefully I can help out. Will do some search once I have some free time too.
